The Driver
Simon Mann is one of the most exciting and consistent young talents in global endurance sports car racing, and has been a loyal, long-time client of Dia Design for many years. Our historical collaboration has allowed us to support Simon throughout his professional career, from his early national races to the biggest international stages. Holding an FIA Silver rating, the American driver has established himself as a cornerstone of the prestigious AF Corse team, competing in top-tier championships such as the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and the Italian GT Championship. His stellar record includes back-to-back Italian GT Sprint Pro-Am titles in 2020 and 2021, and the Italian GT Endurance Pro-Am crown in 2021. His international breakthrough culminated in an impressive third place in the LMGT3 Drivers’ WEC standings in 2024, followed by a remarkable second-place finish at the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2025. Mann perfectly embodies the ideal blend of surgical precision and outstanding resilience required for the world’s most demanding endurance races.
The Concept
The graphics created for Simon Mann are tailored for the flagship Stilo ST6 helmet, offering unmatched lightness and state-of-the-art protection for the grueling challenges of LMGT3 racing. The visual concept is designed to be in perfect harmony with the livery of his Vista AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3. The base paint features a deep metallic racing blue, accented by sharp geometric lines in racing red and brilliant white. Every aerodynamic line is meticulously engineered to follow the natural airflow of the helmet shell, while dedicated sections of exposed 12K carbon fiber provide an exceptional material contrast between the ultra-brilliant High-Gloss finish and the raw high-tech structure. Custom lettering and silver outlines wrap the geometric boundaries, ensuring spectacular light reflections during night race stints under circuit floodlights.
The Helmet
The final result on the Stilo ST6 is a masterclass in balancing classic elegance with aggressive racing dynamics. The High-Gloss clear coat finish provides maximum durability, protecting the custom artwork from rock chips and the extreme wear characteristic of 6, 12, or 24-hour endurance marathons.
