Mattia Michelotto is an official Lamborghini driver and chose Dia Design to create his helmet. This project was born to combine racing technology with the beauty of handmade art. Mattia currently races with the VSR team in the most important GT races worldwide. For a driver of this level, the helmet is more than just protection. It is a unique mark that must speak of speed and precision.

The Stilo ST6 Helmet Design

For this job, we used the Stilo ST6 helmet as a base, the most advanced model for closed-wheel racing. The graphics feature a very deep silver blue that fades into lighter blue tones. This effect gives movement to the helmet even when it’s stationary in the pits.

The touch of fluorescent yellow and fluo red immediately recalls the Lamborghini Squadra Corse colors and ensures Mattia is always visible on track. The lines are designed to follow the air flows and the helmet’s air intakes. Each profile is highlighted with a light blue pinstripe, adding aggressiveness and precision to the final design. The finish is high-gloss to make every pigment shine under the circuit lights.

A Champion on Track

Mattia has already won the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Champion title. Today he brings his experience to the new Lamborghini Temerario GT3. His helmet must reflect this strength. Working with drivers of this caliber allows us to push our airbrushing technique to the limit.
