The Driver: The Soul of Como in World Endurance

Giorgio Roda (born 1994) is not just a driver; he is a true endurance racing specialist, a talent forged in pure endurance. Born in Como with racing in his DNA (son of Gianluca Roda), he demonstrated coolness and surgical precision behind the wheel from a very young age—essential qualities for excelling in automotive marathons.

From his 2014 GTS title win in the International GT Open to his 2018 consecration as ELMS (European Le Mans Series) Champion in the LMGTE class, Roda has always raced for perfection. And his incredible podium performances at the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans (2024 and 2025) confirm his international standing.

The Helmet Concept: Speed and Aggressiveness

For a driver accustomed to handling the extreme pressure of a 24-hour race, running through the night at Le Mans, alternating between rain and darkness aboard LMP2 prototypes and LMGT3 cars, the helmet must be much more than protection: it must be armor.

The design developed by Dia Design for Giorgio Roda’s Stilo ST6 helmet reflects exactly his nature: fast, sharp and uncompromising. Asymmetrical and sharp lines guide the eye toward the rear (where aerodynamic work comes into play), creating a sense of continuous motion even when the helmet is stationary in the pits.

The color combination is designed to be visible and extremely aggressive in the cockpit, yet elegant at the same time. We worked on premium finishes, with details that enhance the shell’s geometries. It’s a “pure racing” design, conceived for those living on the edge at 300 km/h. A helmet that doesn’t go unnoticed, just like Giorgio’s results on the track.
