Highlighting this great form, Giorgio recently secured a spectacular class pole position at the 4 Hours of Imola, sharing the cockpit with two exceptional teammates: Mercedes Junior star Doriane Pin and Dutch talent Richard Verschoor.

The Concept: Fluorescent Orange for Extreme Visibility

In modern motorsport, visual identity is key—especially in endurance racing where cars fly past at over 300 km/h and track visibility is crucial for fans and cameras alike. For this new helmet, we went with a bold and striking color choice: fluorescent orange.

Besides matching some graphic details of the car and team, this color creates a magnetic, aggressive contrast with the asymmetric geometric patterns of the design. The layout is sharp, engineered to flow with the aerodynamic profile of the Stilo ST6, conveying speed even when the car is stationary.

The interplay between gloss and matte finishes—now a signature of Dia Design custom paintings—allows the helmet to capture daylight and track floodlights during night sessions in dynamic ways, enhancing the shape of the shell.

Precision and Durability for Endurance Racing

Running multi-hour stints in a physically demanding category like LMP2 requires peak reliability. At Dia Design, we optimize every phase of the painting process to keep the additional weight to an absolute minimum. Through precise, millimeter-thin paint application and by eliminating unnecessary thickness, we respect the original balance and FIA homologation of the Stilo ST6, reducing neck fatigue during long track sessions.

The final coat is a special ultra-durable clear finish, engineered to protect the artwork from rubber debris and carbon dust kicked up on track at over 300 km/h—a critical factor in keeping the design pristine race after race.
