At the Dia Design studio, a brand new custom helmet artwork comes to life for rally driver Simone Fumagalli, winner of the 2025 Italian Rally Cup in the Super 1600 class and a leading competitor in the Italian 2WD (Two-Wheel Drive) rally scene.
Transitioning from competitive Karting to the challenging world of rally stages, Simone embodies pure speed, vehicle feel, and relentless determination. At the wheel of the iconic Renault Clio S1600 (prepared by Fuma Racing) with which he claimed the National Final at the Rally del Tirreno in Messina, as well as the high-tech Peugeot 208 Rally4 featured in classic events like the Rally della Valle Intelvi and Rally Coppa Camuna, Simone entrusted Dia Design with crafting a bespoke paintwork designed to showcase the raw carbon weave of his Stilo WRC Venti shell.
Graphic Design: Matte Carbon vs Gloss Graphics, Silver Glitter Borders & Metallic Silver Blue
The layout of this custom helmet design for the Stilo WRC Venti shell is defined by a sophisticated finish contrast: the raw carbon weave background remains in a smooth Matte Carbon version, while the entire graphic overlay bursts with an intense High-Gloss Finish.
Over the shell’s surface, the airbrushing introduces exceptional detail:
- Driver Initials in Metallic Silver Blue: On the side panels, we dynamically integrated the driver’s initials: the left side features the letter F, while the right side displays the letter S. Both letters are painted in a refined metallic silver blue tone that catches the light with cool, technical reflections.
- Classic Silver Glitter Borders: All graphic outlines and initial letter borders are highlighted by classic Silver Glitter borders (brilliant silver flakes), adding three-dimensional depth and sparkle under stage lights and technical scrutiny.
- Fluo Gradient Accents (Neon Yellow to Neon Green): Adding rhythm and visibility along the helmet’s aerodynamic lines is a vibrant neon yellow fading smoothly into neon green. This glossy high-visibility gradient pops intensely against the dark matte carbon backdrop.
