Our collaboration with Alberto stems from the challenge of combining the aggressive aesthetics of today’s racing with maximum clarity for special stages. The chosen helmet for this project is the iconic Stilo WRC. This model is the gold standard for every rally driver thanks to its integrated communication system.
From Dust to Triumph: 2024 Italian Champion
2024 saw Alberto crowned Italian Rally Terra Champion. This is a prestigious title won with the Delta Rally team and the support of MRF Tyres. To face the dusty gravel roads and the European stages of the ERC (European Rally Championship), his helmet design was engineered to be unique. We aimed for a livery that would be instantly recognizable even in the most difficult lighting conditions.
Technical Design Analysis
The livery plays on the chromatic contrasts typical of the Battistolli brand. The deep blue base is interrupted by white and red geometric graphics. These lines follow the aerodynamic shapes of the Stilo shell with surgical precision. A fundamental challenge was the durability of the finish. In rallying, the helmet is constantly under attack from dust, mud, and debris. We used ultra-resistant paints capable of maintaining color brilliance under extreme stress.
