The Driver
Matteo Cressoni enters 2025 as one of the undisputed protagonists of global motorsport. This season marks a historic moment for the Iron Lynx team, which sees the transition to the powerful Mercedes-AMG LMGT3 in the FIA WEC, bringing the legendary three-pointed star brand back to the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Mantuan Endurance Specialist, a veteran of a thousand battles across WEC, ELMS, and IMSA, faces this new technical challenge with his usual surgical precision. His ability to extract the maximum potential from every GT car, combined with an impeccable race vision, makes him the ideal partner for Dia Design in creating graphics that must communicate excellence, speed, and national identity on the world’s most prestigious automotive stages.
The Concept
To celebrate such a significant season, we developed a Stilo helmet design that redefines the concept of dynamism. The foundation of the project is the new Stilo ST6 Venti, the pinnacle of protective technology in motorsport. The design unfolds on a metallic Mercedes Silver Grey background alternating with deep High-Gloss black, featuring sharp Lemon Volt graphics that seem to generate kinetic energy. This racing helmet design is not just aesthetic but functional: the lines were engineered to integrate with the shell’s aerodynamic flows, while the placement of technical sponsors such as Garmin and Pecso was curated to ensure maximum visibility without interrupting the visual harmony of the global concept.
The Helmet
The masterpiece lies in the rear area: an artistic tribute to the National Aerobatic Team, the Frecce Tricolori. The “tricolore” smoke trails materialize on the shell, transforming into a dynamic Italian flag that wraps around the helmet, symbolizing the pride of “Made in Italy” in the world. The professional helmet painting reaches new heights of excellence here, with ultra-brilliant glossy finishes that protect and enhance every nuance. Every detail, from the Lemon Volt transitions to the contrast with the metallic paint, was crafted to shine under the floodlights of Spa, Monza, and Le Mans, making this helmet an icon of style and speed.
