The Driver
Francesca Linossi, born in Brescia in 1992, is one of the most prominent and experienced figures in the landscape of Italian and female Gran Turismo motorsport. Growing up in a racing environment thanks to her father Luciano Linossi (a renowned F3 and GT driver), Francesca immediately demonstrated precocious talent in karting, quickly stepping up to racing cars. At just 17, she became the youngest under-18 driver to compete in GT cars in Italy, making her debut in vehicles with engines over 2000cc. Her name entered the history books in 2019, when she claimed the Italian Gran Turismo Endurance Championship in the GT3 Pro-Am class driving an Antonelli Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT3, becoming the first woman to win an Italian GT title. In 2021, she secured her second tricolore success by winning the Italian GT Cup Sprint Championship in an Easy Race Ferrari 488 Challenge, cementing her status as a champion in motorsport.
The Concept
This custom Stilo helmet design for Francesca Linossi is a masterclass in chromatic balance and geometric precision. The Stilo ST5 helmet, widely utilized at the professional level in GT and endurance racing, offers a shell with perfect aerodynamic lines, which we chose to enhance with an extremely sleek and modern layout.
The selected color palette is based on an elegant combination of deep metallic blue and pure white, enriched by soft light blue gradients that create subtle transitions and a three-dimensional depth between the graphic segments. The signature and most premium feature of this helmet lies in the polished chrome copper outlines. These mirror-effect chrome border lines, applied using state-of-the-art paint technology, separate the solid color fields with warm coppery reflections that catch the sunlight and trackside lighting, producing a striking contrast against the cooler blue and white tones. The final high-gloss finish protects the airbrushing and yields an outstanding shine, making this helmet a standout piece on the grid.
