Victor Shaytar is one of the most talented and decorated Russian racing drivers in the international endurance motorsport scene. His professional career is closely linked to major international GT and prototype competitions. The absolute peak of his sporting journey was reached in 2015, a magical year that saw him triumph at the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans in the LMGTE Am category, driving a Ferrari 458 Italia GT2 for the SMP Racing team, sharing the cockpit with Andrea Bertolini and Aleksey Basov. In the same year, thanks to a masterful season packed with victories and solid results, Shaytar and his teammates were crowned world champions by securing the prestigious FIA Endurance Trophy for LMGTE Am Drivers. An outstanding career lived on the absolute limit, where the track visual presence plays a key role in representing the excellence of his racing partners.
The Graphic Concept: Carbon, Fluo Yellow and Silver
Dia Design created a custom layout for Victor Shaytar on a Stilo ST5 base, the ultimate racing helmet in terms of lightness and aerodynamic efficiency. The graphic concept was structured to showcase and proudly display the visible carbon fiber weave of the original shell, a technical and aesthetic choice that is highly sought-after in modern motorsport.
The carbon fiber structure was preserved and treated with a premium clear coat, establishing a dark, deep canvas. An asymmetric and aggressive geometric pattern runs across this texture, creating a high-contrast layout defined by high-visibility fluorescent yellow lines and bands, combined with metallic silver inserts. This visual breakdown highlights the air flows and ridges of the Stilo shell, conveying a sense of speed and dynamism even when the car is stationary in the pit lane.
Premium Finish and integrated Sponsorships
Every single logo for the SMP Racing team and the Ferrari brand was applied by hand through direct painting using microscopic stencils, integrating seamlessly under the final clear coat layers. The helmet is protected by a premium high-gloss clear lacquer, specifically engineered to withstand the extreme stresses and impacts of track debris during long endurance racing marathons, ensuring that the fluo colors and metallic elements shine brightly under the lights of international tracks.
